The Asker Pole Pro 5162BL is a 216 cm lighting pole with the LED luminaire built in: a two-segment extruded aluminium profile, powder coated black RAL 9005, ending in a head offset sideways from the shaft. The luminaire is closed by a hermetic clear PMMA lens on a silicone gasket. How tall it is and how it is set The pole stands 216 cm, the head reaches 39 cm to the side and the profile itself is 11 cm deep, so beside a garden path the light falls next to the shaft rather than along it. Net weight is 10.54 kg, gross 12.11 kg, and the carton is 115 cm long, worth checking before collecting it yourself. The base has four ø12 mm holes on a 200 × 200 mm pattern and needs a prepared foundation: a ground anchor (index 117) or a concreting anchor (index 116) is bought separately. The terminals take up to 5 × 4 mm², and up to 5 × 2.5 mm² in a loop, so the supply can run from one pole to the next without a separate junction box at each point. A round cable fits the ø4-8, ø8-12 or ø10-13.6 mm ranges. What light it gives The LED module puts out 1221 lm and the whole luminaire draws 8.5 W. 4000 K is neutral white, without the yellow cast of 3000 K garden fittings, and a colour rendering index of Ra 70 is enough for walkways but not for a place where colours are judged. Distribution comes from a Ledil VSM lens, IESNA type V — a wide beam symmetrical around the pole, intended for paths, parks and private grounds. Only 1% of the flux goes above the horizontal (ULOR 1%), so the light stays on the ground rather than in the sky. Control and durability The driver handles DALI2 and NightDim and arrives programmed to the maximum permitted current; other settings are programmed by the manufacturer after contacting its sales department. The LED module and the driver may be replaced by a qualified technician, and the manufacturer quotes over 100,000 h of life for both. IP65 allows the pole to stand in the open, IK08 impact resistance matters beside a path or a driveway, and protection class I requires an earth conductor.
