The XLG-200-12-A is a sealed LED driver in a metal case measuring 199 × 63 × 35.5 mm, with factory-fitted leads at both ends and mounting flanges drilled at each end. Its output is 12 V SELV safety extra-low voltage. The case is rated IP67, which means dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion. How much LED strip it will run Rated power is 192 W at 16 A. To check whether the driver is enough, multiply the strip's rating in watts per metre by the length you plan to run — the total of everything connected has to fit inside those 192 W. The A version carries a built-in potentiometer that sets the output current anywhere between 8 and 16 A. The driver works as a constant-voltage source with current limiting: the constant-current region covers 8.4 to 12 V, so on overload the voltage drops rather than rising. Mains side and consumption The input accepts alternating voltage from 100 to 305 V at 47–63 Hz, so a 230 V supply sits in the middle of the range and normal fluctuation does not leave it. At 230 V the driver draws about 1.1 A. Typical efficiency is 92 %: to deliver 192 W to the strip it takes roughly 209 W from the mains, and the difference becomes heat in the case. Power factor at 230 V is at least 0.95. With nothing connected the draw falls below 0.5 W, so a driver left energised adds no noticeable consumption. Mounting The flanges at both ends of the case take screws, so the driver is fixed to a surface — it is not made for a DIN rail. The 199 mm length and 35.5 mm height are the figures to compare with the space it has to disappear into: a ceiling void, an installation box, or a recess under a worktop.
