UNAR is a flat flush ceiling light 39.5 cm across and only 5 cm high. The metal ring is finished in matt gold, and a milky acrylic cover closes the whole underside — switched on, the entire disc glows evenly, with no visible points. The LED source is built into the fitting. How much room it needs under the ceiling At 5 cm high the fitting barely stands off the ceiling, which counts in rooms with a low ceiling and above circulation routes where a drop gets in the way. The manufacturer states the height is not adjustable — it is a fixed body. The round mounting plate is 40 cm across and half a centimetre thick, and the whole fitting weighs 1.15 kg. The driver is supplied and hides inside the body, so no space has to be found above the ceiling for a separate box. How much light it gives The built-in LED module draws 24 W and delivers 1550 lm — the level at which one fitting lights a smaller room as its main light, and in a larger one works as the base layer alongside local lamps. The 2700 K colour is a warm white close to the old incandescent bulb. The beam angle is 128°, so the milky cover spreads the light wide onto walls and floor rather than into a narrow cone. Colour rendering is Ra 80. The manufacturer gives the source 20,000 hours and 10,000 switching cycles; it is not changed like a lamp, and its energy class is G. Dimming from the ordinary switch The fitting has 3 StepDim with memory: brightness moves between three levels from the wall switch alone, by switching off and on again quickly. No dimmer has to be bought or fitted in the back box, and the light remembers the level last chosen and returns to it when switched on. Build and versions The shade is acrylic and the mounting plate metal, with a spray-painted matt finish. IP20 settles the mounting: dry interiors only.
