MOMORO is a table lamp shaped like a vase: a rounded body, a pinched waist and a mouth that flares open at the top. Vertical fluting runs across the whole surface, and the body is made of porcelain in matt white. The lamp stands 29.4 cm tall and measures 19.7 cm at its widest point. How much room it takes and how it connects The round base is 10 cm across, so the lamp fits on a narrow ledge, a shelf or a chest of drawers. At 1.12 kg it stands steadily and moves with one hand. The height of 29.4 cm is fixed, as the design has no adjustment. The cable is 160 cm long and ends in a Type C plug, so the lamp goes into an ordinary socket, with no wiring box and no electrician. The switch sits on the cord, within reach beside whatever the lamp stands on, so you never have to reach for the body to turn it on. The light MOMORO gives The fitting takes one lamp with an E14 cap of up to 25 W. No bulb is supplied, so you choose the colour and the brightness yourself. The manufacturer recommends its own G45 LED lamp, article 49098/05/30 — E14, 5 W, 2700 K, that is warm, slightly yellow light. The porcelain is translucent: switched on, the whole belly of the lamp glows and the fluting reads as lighter and darker stripes. The mouth stays open, so part of the output goes straight to the ceiling. The light spreads around the lamp and stays diffuse — this is an accent fitting for a corner or a surface, not room lighting. Dimming is not provided, either in the fitting or in the supply. Build Body and base are porcelain, spray painted white with a matt finish; the inside of the shade is white as well. The soft organic silhouette and the rhythm of the fluting are what the manufacturer calls Japandi: a plain form and a natural material with no ornament. The lamp is electrical class II, double insulated, so it does not need an earthed socket. Its IP20 rating limits it to dry interiors. The manufacturer covers the fitting with a two year warranty.
