LEANNE is a wall light in matt spray-painted black metal: a round 10 cm back plate, a bent arm and an E27 lampholder pointing down. There is no shade — the black holder sleeve is 4.3 cm across and the bulb stays fully exposed. How big it is and where to hang it The light projects 14.5 cm from the wall and stands 12 cm tall, and the 10 cm plate covers a standard flush wall box. The height cannot be adjusted — the manufacturer gives the same figure as the minimum and the maximum. A 14.5 cm projection plus the bulb is a strip of wall you have to walk past — the figure to compare with the width of your hallway or the gap beside the bed. The fitting itself weighs 0.25 kg, and the mounting materials are in the box. Which light source to buy The holder takes one E27 source of up to 40 W at 230 V. No bulb is included, and because the fitting has no shade the bulb is on full display — which is why Lucide recommends its own decorative lamp 49032/05/62 for LEANNE: a G95 LED filament 9.5 cm across, 4.9 W, 2200 K, amber glass. 2200 K is noticeably warmer and more orange than a traditional bulb; it is the colour the product photographs show. A bright opal lamp would shine straight into your eyes here, because nothing screens it. The G95 is 9.5 cm across, so the bulb alone is wider than the light's back plate. Dimming and wiring The manufacturer states the light can be dimmed, but the fitting itself carries no electronics — it is operated from an ordinary switch. Dimming needs two separately bought items: a dimmable bulb and a dimmer in the wall box. The fitting is electrical class 1, so an earth conductor is needed to connect it.
