BASIC LENS 15 is a one-metre cover for LED profiles, made of clear PMMA. Its cross-section is convex, lens-shaped, and the edges along both sides clip into the groove of an aluminium profile above the LED strip. Which profiles it fits The manufacturer specifies this cover for the furniture profiles A, B, C, D, G, H, W, Y, Z, COSMO, RETO, J, Q18, Q20 and U, and for the architectural profiles FALCO, GAUDI, APA12, APA16, IPA12, IPA16, FLEXA and inFLEXA. Profiles outside that list — TIANO or FLARO, for instance — are served by other covers in the BASIC family, so check the marking on your own profile before ordering. How much light it passes In the manufacturer's photometry laboratory the cover measured 92% light transmittance, with a ±5% tolerance. Covering the strip therefore costs very little brightness: the milky BASIC cover from the same family passes 50%, half as much. In exchange, a clear cover does not hide the individual diodes the way a milky one does — the strip stays plainly visible through it. Working temperature and available versions The manufacturer rates the material for use from -20°C to +70°C. The LENS 15 shape is produced in clear PMMA only — there is no frosted, milky or black version of it, unlike the flat BASIC cover. What ships is the cover alone, in a 1 m length: the profile, the LED strip and the end caps are separate items. The manufacturer also cuts the same cover to 2 m and 3 m, and the BASIC family holds a LENS 30 alongside it, with a different lens shape.Pokaż więcej
