The tube with the black lid contains 2 ml of TSB medium (tryptic soy broth), a universal nutrient medium for the detection, isolation and cultivation of fastidious and undemanding microorganisms from clinical samples. Can also be used as an enrichment medium to detect Staphylococcus aureus.
