Darrin I is a surface-mounted spotlight from Rendl light studio: a slim black tube just 4 cm across, set on a rectangular angled base. Nothing is recessed into the ceiling — the fitting mounts onto a finished surface, which makes it useful wherever there is no plenum above the ceiling or the renovation is long over. A narrow 24° beam for accent lighting The spotlight is built to pick out one place rather than to fill a room. Its 24° beam angle produces a tight pool of light — enough to lift a picture, a shelf, a plaster texture or a section of worktop. The 619 lm output at 6 W matches a typical halogen spot, without the heat and with a far longer service life. Adjustable on two axes: 90° and 350° The tube tilts through 90° and rotates 350° on its base, so the direction of the light is set after installation, with no new holes drilled — you simply turn and tilt the head. That matters when what you are lighting moves: a different picture on the same wall, a shelving unit shifted along, a new furniture layout. Warm 3000 K light with Ra 80 The integrated LED module runs at 3000 K, a warm white close to a traditional bulb, with a colour rendering index of Ra 80. This tone keeps an interior from feeling cold and sits well with wood, warm textiles and matt paint. Rated life is 25,000 hours and the energy efficiency class is F. Complete and ready to install The light source is built into the fitting and supplied with it, as is the driver — there is no bulb or transformer to buy separately. The luminaire runs on 230 V mains. Installation requires a supply cable at the mounting point and should be carried out by a qualified person with the power switched off.
