Cuba Energy Oval outdoor wall lamp white Nordlux

Name: Cuba Energy Oval outdoor wall lamp white Nordlux
Brand: Nordlux

Cuba Energy Oval is an oval outdoor wall light in the classic bulkhead shape: white plastic frames an opal white cover that takes up almost the whole face. The fitting is 20.5 cm long and 10 cm high, stands 4.3 cm off the wall and weighs 0.24 kg. Where and how it is fixed The manufacturer intends the same body for wall and ceiling mounting, so one fitting covers the wall beside a front door as readily as the soffit of a passage or a garage ceiling. At 4.3 cm projection it sits almost flush and stays out of the way in a narrow passage. It is a class II fitting — double insulated, with no earth conductor needed at the box. Nordlux states that the fittings must not be connected in parallel: each one needs its own supply, which matters when several are planned along a façade. How much light it gives and of what kind The light comes from a built-in LED module that cannot be replaced — once it is spent, the whole fitting is changed. The manufacturer quotes a lifetime of 30,000 hours, about 27 years at three hours of use a day. The module draws 6.5 W and gives 730 lm, roughly what an old 60 W bulb gave. 3000 K is warm white, and the 120-degree spread means the opal cover washes light broadly across the wall instead of throwing a narrow pool — hence its usefulness above a door and along a walkway. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough for lighting an approach. The fitting is not dimmable. Where it may hang IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, so the fitting suits a sheltered entrance, a balcony, a fence and a façade, as well as humid rooms such as a bathroom or cellar. The manufacturer does not release it for seaside locations. The plastic housing with aluminium parts carries an IK08 impact rating, equivalent to a blow of 5 J — an argument where the fitting hangs low, by a passage or in a garage. The form is modern: a smooth oval with no ornament and a plain white frame.Pokaż więcej
