Bray Wall Sconce - 1 Light Source - Lacquered Brass by Elstead

Name: Bray Wall Sconce - 1 Light Source - Lacquered Brass by Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

The Bray wall light by Hinkley in lacquered brass has a slim, jointed arm and a swivelling conical shade on a rectangular wall plate. The lacquer keeps the brass tone from dulling. The switch is hidden in the fitting. It is distributed by Elstead Lighting. Dimensions and reach The light is 42.5 cm high, the shade 14 cm across, and the arm reaches up to 47 cm from the wall; it weighs 1.88 kg. The arm can be drawn in to the wall or swung out over a pillow or the back of an armchair, and the shade turned to light the book rather than your face. Compare the 47 cm reach with the distance from the wall to the spot you want lit. Light source The fitting takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included. The shade is opaque and white inside, so light comes out as a focused cone from the open end. Dimming is possible with a dimmable E27 bulb and a dimmer switch. The hidden switch lets you turn it on without getting out of bed. It is Class I, so it must be connected to earth; it is for indoor use. Intended use The manufacturer names Bray for reading at the bedside or in an armchair — in homes and hotel rooms. The catalogue also assigns it to living rooms, bedrooms, studies, hallways and dining rooms. Brass and form The steel frame in a warm brass tone gives the simple form a more elegant, timeless look than the black version, while the body itself — cone and thin arm — stays modernist and unadorned.Pokaż więcej
