The Elstead Ziggy is a two-light pendant from the Ziggy family, made from steel and glass in a lacquered-gold finish. Its 40.6 cm diameter and 23.5 cm fitting height define the visible size of the shade assembly. The gold ceiling pan continues the finish at the ceiling, while the glass diffuser material is part of the specified construction.Set the drop for the installation point Four rigid rods are supplied: two 152 mm rods and two 305 mm rods. They allow a minimum drop of 235 mm and a maximum drop of 1175 mm. Compare that range with the ceiling height and the height of the surface below before choosing the final configuration. This indoor fitting uses mains voltage of 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Its Class I rating means the electrical installation must provide the protective-earth connection required for this class. The 40.6 cm width is also useful when planning clear space around the pendant.Two replaceable E27 lamps Ziggy has two E27 sockets and lamps are not included. Each socket accepts a lamp of up to 60 W, so select the bulbs separately and check both their dimensions and wattage. The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps; whether dimming works depends on the lamps chosen and the compatible control installation.Specified materials and use The steel body, glass parts and lacquered-gold finish give this pendant its defined material and colour combination. Its adjustable rod arrangement can be matched to the mounting height, and its two lamp positions make it a considered option above a dining table.
