Name: Astrid 2221WH garden bollard, white, LED 14.6 W 2700 K, TRIAC dimmable, IP65, 55 cm
Brand: NORLYS

Astrid 2221WH is a garden bollard with a slim square profile of 14 × 14 cm standing 55 cm tall. The painted aluminium column in white is topped by a head with a milky PMMA diffuser. Diffuse light, not directed light The diffuser is opal and emits in every direction — Astrid casts no pool on the surface below it but becomes a softly glowing point at knee height. That is the difference between a bollard that lights a path and one that marks it. The LED module draws 14.6 W and gives 265 lm at 2700 K, warm white. Those 265 lm should not be compared with the output of a directional fitting: with a diffuser scattering into the full solid angle, efficacy is 18.2 lm/W and the energy class is D, because a good deal of the light stays in the shade. Astrid is a decorative marker, not a source of working light. Colour rendering is Ra 80 and colour consistency between units stays within SDCM3 — a row of bollards along a driveway lights in a single shade. Dimming with a phase-cut dimmer The fitting is dimmable, and the maker gives the control method as TRIAC, that is ordinary phase dimming. Which means a wall dimmer in the circuit is enough — no bus and no controller, as DALI fittings would need. With this light distribution, dimming has a concrete purpose: full output while arriving and coming home, a lower level for the rest of the evening when the bollards only need to trace the line of the path. Durability and mounting IP65 means full dust protection and resistance to a jet of water from any direction, and the IK10 impact rating is the highest on the scale — which matters for a bollard beside a driveway, where contact with a wheel or a mower is easy. The base fixes with three screws through ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. Sealing rests on an EPDM gland. It runs on 230 V, power factor is above 0.9, and declared module life is 70,000 hours. It is made in the European Union.Meer tonen
