Nora 2473WH is a square outdoor wall light, 13 cm a side and 5 cm deep, made of powder-coated cast aluminium in white, RAL 9003. It throws light two ways — up and down — through strips of satin safety glass at the edges, and a silicone gasket closes the housing. How much light, and how it is spread Two LED modules give 613 lm out of the luminaire at 15.3 W. The manufacturer states ULOR 50%, so half the flux goes up and half goes down — the wall gets two symmetrical bands of light instead of one patch below the fitting. 3000 K is warm white, close to the light of a traditional bulb. The satin glass diffuses the output, so the bands have a soft edge and the source does not glare at anyone standing in front of the wall. Mounting and wiring The fitting screws on through two ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm. It is a protection class I luminaire and therefore needs an earth conductor — a PE core has to reach the mounting point, a two-core supply will not do. The terminals take conductors up to 5 x 2.5 mm², and the fitting can be looped through with up to 5 x 1.5 mm²: a row along a facade is then fed by one run instead of a separate spur per point. The round-sheathed cable has to be 7 to 10.5 mm in diameter, and Norlys states that 74 of these can run off one B16A breaker. Weather, control and service IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the fitting takes rain and facade washing. IK09 corresponds to a 10 J impact — which counts where the light hangs within reach beside a pavement. The driver is included and the fitting is controlled on a DALI2 system: an ordinary wall dimmer will not dim it, a DALI controller is needed. The manufacturer quotes 100,000 h driver life and states that both the LED module and the control gear are replaced by a professional, with service set ZN2473XX0009 provided for it. The light weighs 0.85 kg, and 0.91 kg in its 16 x 14 x 5.5 cm box.Meer tonen
