The TEKKNI TVED end cap is a grey ABS finishing part that closes the end of an aluminium LED profile from the TVED system. Its front face carries an elongated opening for the cable, and the back has a lug that sits in the profile channel. The manufacturer lists it as universal, so the same piece fits either end of a length of profile.Which profile it fitsThe cap follows the TVED cross-section: 28.2 mm wide including the flanges, 23.6 mm across the part hidden in the routed groove, and 10 mm high. It will not fit a profile with a different cross-section — end caps are chosen for one specific system, including within the TEKKNI range.The flat top edge of the cap repeats the line of the profile flange, so it closes the end of the groove flush with its outline. TVED is set into a routed groove, and once a length has been cut to size its end is left open — the cap covers the aluminium edge, the LED strip and the wiring.The cable openingThe elongated opening in the front face is there to lead the supply cable out. On TVED that matters, because the manufacturer places the driver outside the profile: the cable has to leave the groove anyway, and through the cap it exits along the axis of the profile.For the TVED system the TEKKNI catalogue lists two cap colours: grey, code 12-1865-01, and black, 12-1862-01, both in ABS.Meer tonen
