SANTELO Bollard Light by Luces Exclusivas LE75132
SANTELO is an outdoor bollard light in matt black aluminium, built from two half-cylinder shells slid past one another. Two small reflector heads sit in the gap between them, projecting past the body and facing in opposite directions. The bollard stands 45 cm high and is 12 cm across. How tall it is and what it stands on 45 cm is roughly the knee height of an adult, so the light falls just above the surface rather than into the eyes of anyone walking past. The body is 12 cm in diameter and ends in a round flanged foot with a fixing hole, bolted down to a hard surface — this model does not suit a lawn without a foundation, because it has no ground spike. The same family runs to three heights: 24 cm with one head, 45 cm with two and 65 cm with three. Where the bollards are to stand in a row along a driveway, that comparison is what decides how much light falls per metre of path. How much light it gives and where it goes The source is an integrated LED module of 5 W in total, giving 332 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The module cannot be swapped for a bulb, so the light source is bought with the fitting. 332 lm split between two heads is about 165 lm a side. That is enough to mark the edge of a path or a step; lighting a whole driveway calls for several bollards. Because the two heads face opposite ways, a single bollard set in the middle traces the path down both sides at once. Where it may stand An IP65 rating means fully dust-tight and resistant to water jets, so the bollard can stand in the open all year. It runs on 230 V fed by cable up through the foot. The body is aluminium painted matt black, with no ornament and no screws visible on the surface. By day the black disappears most readily against dark paving and planting, and stands out against pale concrete.Meer tonen
