POLA Luces Exclusivas Pendant Lamp LE41459
POLA is a pendant lamp built from three open cubes, each hanging on its own cable from a shared ceiling plate. The cubes differ in size and hang at different heights, and opal light strips run along the edges of the frames. The finish is gold, and the manufacturer lists aluminium and glass as the materials. How large it is and where to hang it The maximum drop is 156 cm and the three cubes occupy an area of 56 × 48.5 cm. The cables are shortened during installation, so the first figure says how low the lamp can go, not how low it has to go. Over a table the drop is usually set so that the bottom edge of the lowest cube sits 70–80 cm above the top — with a table at 75 cm, the 156 cm range also covers a room with a raised ceiling. The 56 × 48.5 cm spread is worth comparing with the width of your own table top: over a table 80–90 cm wide the group of three keeps its proportions, over a narrower one it starts to reach past the outline. How much light it gives and of what kind The light source is built in and comes with the lamp: an LED module of 110 W and 8250 lm. A traditional 60 W bulb gave around 800 lm, so POLA lights a whole room rather than only the surface beneath it. 3000 K is a warm white with a slightly yellow cast, close to the light of a traditional bulb. The module is integrated into the fitting and cannot be swapped the way a bulb can — at the end of its life the whole luminaire is replaced. The lamp runs on 230 V. What interior it suits The form is modern and purely geometric: nothing but the cube edges, without shades and without ornament, in a single gold finish. The three bodies hanging at different heights make up an arrangement that reads even with the light switched off. An adjustable drop and a compact spread place this luminaire over a defined surface — over a dining table or over a kitchen island, where the hanging height is matched to the work top.Meer tonen
