Name: Ceiling light Aldex Bot 6 White Metal 6xGU10-AR111 160 cm 1046PL_K
Brand: Aldex

The BOT CEILING 6 is a six-light ceiling spot bar: a flat white rail 160 cm long carrying six cylindrical heads arranged in three pairs. The body is powder-coated metal in matt white, and every head sits on a swivel joint.Which lamp you need to buyEach head takes a GU10 cap, but it is built around the ES111 reflector lamp of 111 mm diameter rather than the ordinary 50 mm GU10 capsule. A capsule does not fill an 11.5 cm shade, so look for the ES111 or AR111 marking next to the GU10 cap when you buy.The manufacturer states a maximum of 10 W LED per light point and supplies no lamps with the fitting: six separately bought lamps are needed before it will light. Aldex lists a dedicated ES111 LED lamp for the BOT fittings. An ES111 carries its own reflector, so the beam angle is set by the lamp and not by the shade. Choosing the lamps therefore also means choosing the width of the beam: narrow for a picture or a worktop, wide for general room lighting. How much ceiling it takes upThe rail measures 160 cm long and 11.5 cm wide. That is the figure to compare with the length of the wall, worktop or table it will hang over. It drops 15.5 cm below the ceiling, 9 cm of which is the shade itself, so it also fits a room with a low ceiling. The six light points sit in three pairs along the rail rather than in one even row, as the manufacturer technical drawing shows. The whole fitting weighs 4.05 kg and mounts flat against the ceiling.Aiming the light and where it may goEvery shade turns on its joint, so the six beams can be aimed independently: at a wall, at a work surface or up at the ceiling. Across 160 cm of rail that gives several separately lit zones instead of a single pool of light. The fitting runs on 230 V and carries an IP20 rating, which means dry interiors only. It is not suitable for the shower zone of a bathroom or for outdoor use.Meer tonen
