The NORDLAND 5016 is a square outdoor wall light measuring 28 cm on a side, built around a cast aluminium frame powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. A milky UV-stabilised polycarbonate pane covers the middle, screwed down at the four corners. The fitting stands 9.5 cm clear of the wall. Where it goes and what the wiring needs The flat 28 × 28 cm body suits a wall as readily as a ceiling — the maker describes it as a wall and ceiling luminaire. It fixes through two ø5 mm holes spaced 150 × 170 mm, and at 2.25 kg ordinary plugs for masonry or concrete are enough. The fitting belongs to protection class I, so connecting it requires an earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the option of carrying 3 × 1.5 mm² onward allows a loop through to the next fitting — a row along a facade then runs on one supply line instead of one per light. The gland accepts a round cable 7–10.5 mm across. Dimming and how tough the housing is It dims by phase control (TRIAC) on both edges — trailing edge TE and leading edge LE. It will therefore work with an RC dimmer and with an older R/RL one, which in many existing installations is already in the wall box. An IP65 rating means a dust-tight housing that withstands a jet of water from a nozzle, and IK10 is the top impact class on that scale.
