Narvik II 1734 is a bollard light in cast aluminium, powder coated in RAL 9006, a pale aluminium shade. It stands 95 cm tall on a 24 × 24 cm footprint, and a domed cap closes off the clear PMMA lens with its vertical fins from above. How big it is and how it is fixed down At 95 cm the fitting reaches roughly the waist of an adult, so it lights the surface underfoot rather than the faces of people walking past. It weighs 10.84 kg net, which at that height means stability comes from the anchoring rather than from the mass. The base has six oval holes of 10 × 15 mm set every 60° on a ø172 mm circle. The concrete-foundation adapter, the mounting adapter and the concreting anchor are separate articles and have to be bought alongside it. What light it gives The fitting draws 13.4 W and emits 959 lm, which works out at 71.6 lm/W. Light leaves on four sides all round and the cap closes it off above, so the beam falls on the path and the planting around the bollard rather than into windows or the sky. 4000 K is neutral white, cooler than domestic incandescent light and usual for pedestrian routes. Colour rendering is 80 and colour consistency SDCM3, so several bollards in a row light in the same tone. Dimming is by TRIAC phase dimmer, working in both trailing-edge and leading-edge mode. Resistance, protection class and wiring IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK10 resistance to a 20 J impact, the level intended for publicly accessible places. A silicone gasket completes the seal. The fitting is built to protection class II, so it is double insulated and no PE protective conductor is run to its terminals. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm² and allow the supply to be looped through to the next bollard, and the body carries a service door. The manufacturer states that installation and servicing are carried out by a person holding the appropriate qualifications. The LED module and the control gear are replaceable, again only by a professional.Meer tonen
