Microsolv HPLC Column Cogent HPS Amino, 120 Å, 5 μm, 2.1 x 150 mm
Normal phase or HILIC HPLC | Sugars | Carboxylic acids. These HPLC columns are made with our proprietary, 5um, high purity silica (HPS™) with a narrow particle size distribution, unique, tri-functional bonding. The metals content is below 1ppm which makes these columns very efficient and durable. Cogent HPS™ columns provide excellent chromatography and are robust and reproducible. Amino columns are most often used in normal phase mode but, the Cogent HPS™ Amino column is versatile and can also be used in reversed phase or in HILIC mode when needed. The Amino functionality of the amino-propyl ligand has a lone electron pair. Therefore, the hydrocarbon chain (C3) will be polar and will have a slightly negative dipole moment toward the nitrogen of the amino group. The makes the stationary phase polar. Different molecules will have different retention based on their polarity and their size (access to the ligand) thus, a unique Selectivity.Meer tonen
