THAI is a ceiling fan with integrated LED lighting — one device instead of a lamp and a fan separately. Designed by Nacho Timon, built in steel and ABS, in black. Blade span is about 122 cm and the weight 4.8 kg.A DC motor, not ACThe drive is a DC motor — quieter and more efficient than a classic AC unit, and able to split the speed range more finely. The fan has eight speeds, a maximum of 190 rpm and an airflow of 163 m³/min. The manufacturer states noise at 33 dB on the lowest and 45 dB on the highest speed — 33 dB is the level at which it can be left running overnight.Summer and winter modeThe three blades are reversible and the fan has a summer/winter mode. In summer it pushes air down for a cooling effect; in winter it turns the other way and pushes the warm air gathered at the ceiling back into the room, which makes sense wherever heat collects up there. The recommended room area is 13–20 m².The lightThe LED module draws 30 W and gives 2400 lm out of the fitting (3300 lm from the source) with a tunable 2700–5000 K colour — from warm to cool white. Colour rendering is CRI 80, beam angle 120°, lifetime 25,000 hours and, unusually for this class, the source is replaceable. The light is dimmable.Control: remote, Bluetooth and appAn R00142 remote on 2.4 GHz is included. Beyond it the unit supports Bluetooth and the manufacturer's app, so fan speed, brightness and colour can be set from a phone without adding a separate smart-home system.Installation — what to watchThe mounting height is set by two supplied downrods (12.5 and 25 cm), giving a range of 31–43.5 cm from the ceiling; a longer rod is available separately. The unit is not intended for sloped ceilings — the manufacturer states a maximum slope of 0°. Electrical class I requires a protective earth conductor, and the IP20 rating means dry interiors.
