The SAONA SUPERFICIE 6633 is a square LED ceiling light 22,5 cm to a side and only 4,2 cm deep. The aluminium body is painted matt white and the whole underside is an acrylic diffuser set slightly into the frame. The LEDs are permanently built in. Size and mounting The fitting screws straight onto the ceiling — there is no opening to cut and no space to keep clear above the board. At 4,2 cm it stands off the ceiling by less than the width of a hand, so it takes nothing off the height of the room and fits where a shaded fitting would not. The manufacturer allows mounting on stretch ceilings. A 22,5 × 22,5 cm square suits small and medium rooms and circulation areas, where several units are set out at even spacings. The fitting weighs 0,97 kg. Protection class II means no PE earth conductor is needed for the connection — live and neutral are enough. How much light the SAONA SUPERFICIE gives The built-in LEDs draw 24 W and deliver 2160 lm, roughly what three old 60 W bulbs gave. That is main-lighting output: one fitting is enough in a hallway, a utility bathroom or a smaller room. The 4000 K colour is a neutral white with no yellow cast, and a colour rendering index of Ra 80 is what general lighting normally offers. The acrylic diffuser covers the LEDs across the whole face, so from below you see an evenly lit square rather than separate points. The fitting is not dimmable — it runs at full output once switched on. Where it works The manufacturer intends it for hallways. IP20 limits it to dry rooms, and the 220-240 V supply matches ordinary domestic wiring. Construction and life The body is aluminium and the diffuser acrylic, all in a single matt white with no visible screws. Mantra rates the light source at 30 000 hours.
