The Nora 2470WH is a square outdoor wall light, 13 cm to a side, cast in aluminium and powder-coated in RAL 9003 white. It projects 5 cm from the wall and throws light up and down through a pane of safety glass. Mounting and wiring The base screws on through two ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm. The terminals take conductors up to 2.5 mm², and the manufacturer provides for looping fittings through — up to 1.5 mm² — so several of these can run on one circuit without junction boxes between them. The gland is sized for round cable of ø7–10.5 mm. The fitting is Class I, so an earth conductor has to reach it. It weighs 0.85 kg, which puts no real demand on the fixing even in a thin wall. How it lights Two LED modules inside draw 15.3 W together and deliver 1103 lm out of the luminaire. The ULOR figure is 50%, meaning exactly half the output goes upward and half downward — on a facade that draws a symmetrical soft band above and below the fitting rather than a pool on the ground. The colour temperature is 3000 K, a warm white close to a traditional bulb. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough for a facade or an entrance, and the manufacturer quotes SDCM3 colour consistency — two of these side by side should not differ in tint. DALI2 control Dimming runs over DALI2 or TD. This is not a fitting for an ordinary wall dimmer: adjusting the level needs a DALI bus and a controller. Without one it simply runs at full output. The manufacturer also publishes how many of these may share one breaker — 74 on a B16A. What happens over the years IP65 means dust-tight and resistant to water jets, IK09 covers impact, and the operating range runs from −20 to +45 °C. A silicone gasket makes the seal. The LED module and the driver are not potted in for good: the manufacturer provides for their replacement by a professional and sells the service kit as ZN2470XX0009. Driver life is quoted at 100,000 h. The manufacturer also notes that condensation forming inside the fitting is a natural phenomenon and not a defect.Meer tonen
