MERA BLACK/GOLD is a three-light pendant from Keter Lighting, a Polish maker based in Częstochowa where the fittings are assembled by hand. Three smoked glass shades hang on black cords from a plain 60 cm metal bar, each at a different height, so the group reads as a light, irregular composition rather than a row of identical points. Smoked glass shades in metal cages Each shade is a smoked glass globe partly wrapped in a black wire cage. The glass lets light through in a soft, subdued way and takes the edge off the bulb's glare, while the metal mesh gives the whole thing a rawer edge. Where the shade meets the lampholder, the finish is gold — the only bright accent in the design, and the reason for the "GOLD" in the variant name. The bulb as part of the decoration The fitting uses three E27 sockets and takes bulbs of up to 60 W each. No bulbs are supplied, so the character of the light is yours to choose: a retro decorative bulb with a visible filament plays to the transparency of the glass, while a frosted LED globe gives a more even, diffused light. Colour temperature and luminous flux come with the bulbs you fit. Dimensions and installation The mounting bar is 60 cm long and 15 cm wide, and the maximum suspension height is 120 cm. Those proportions suit narrow worktops and kitchen islands, a dining table, or a counter. The construction is light — gross weight is 1.9 kg. The lamp runs on 230 V and carries an IP20 rating, which restricts it to dry interiors.
