The V-TAC VT-180W solar floodlight is an LED fixture in a flat, rectangular aluminium housing in black, powered entirely by solar energy and intended for mounting on an outside wall. How big it is and where to mount it The body measures 29 cm wide, 23.5 cm high and 5.5 cm deep — a flat shape that fits easily onto a narrow strip of wall. The fixture weighs 2.84 kg, so wall plugs matched to the wall material are needed to hang it. The IP65 rating allows mounting without extra shelter in a spot exposed to rain, and the manufacturer intends it for façade lighting. How much light it gives and what kind 20 W of power produces a luminous flux of 1800 lm, around 90 lm per watt — brightness comparable to a smaller work light. The light has a neutral 4000 K colour temperature, meaning white without a noticeable warm or cool tint, and the 120° beam angle spreads it widely over the lit surface. The LED is built into the fixture and cannot be replaced; it reaches full brightness instantly, in under 0.001 seconds.
