The Thermo Scientific™ Acclaim™ 120 C8-LC columns for reverse phase separation of analytes are moderately hydrophobic and offer similar selectivity to the Acclaim 120 C18 columns, with a predictable elution order but lower retention. Compounds elute faster, so separations are completed more quickly. The unique chemistry of tightly bound C8 ligands on a high purity, spherical, porous silica substrate gives Acclaim 120 C8 columns outstanding efficiency.
