ZAMBELIS E334 is a low garden light shaped as a rectangular frame: 23 cm wide, 20 cm high and 8.5 cm deep. The body is aluminium in a graphite finish, and clear glass sits in the two upright members of the frame. The luminaire stands on its own base — there is no wall bracket and no ground spike. Where to put it At 20 cm tall it lights low, just above the surface it stands on. The base takes up 23 × 8.5 cm — a measurement worth comparing with the width of the low wall, step or edging the luminaire is meant to sit on. The manufacturer states IP65, which is protection against water jets from any direction, so the light can stand in the open with nothing over it. On the data sheet both the cutting hole and the required depth read "none": this fitting is not recessed, it is placed on a finished surface. How much light it gives The built-in LED module draws 8 W and delivers 587 lm. That is less than an old 60 W bulb, which corresponds to roughly 800 lm — so the fitting marks the line of a path or the edge of a terrace rather than replacing the lighting of a whole garden. 3000 K is warm white, and Ra 80 is colour rendering that is adequate outdoors. The light source cannot be replaced: the LED is built in permanently. The manufacturer states a lifetime of L70B50 30 000 h, which at three hours a day works out at about 27 years. The fitting is not dimmable — it does not go on a dimmer. Supply and construction The luminaire runs on 220–240 V mains and belongs to safety class I, so the connection needs a protective earth conductor. The manufacturer supplies neither a connecting lead nor a plug; the fitting is wired permanently into the garden installation.
