COSMOSIL 5Ph-AR-300 is a polymeric type of Phenyl phase. It shows exceptional stability and long lifetime at low pH. This phase is recommended for the separations requiring acidic mobile phase conditions. The acidic resistance of COSMOSIL 5C4-AR-300 is much improved compared with commercially available monomeric type Phenyl stationary phases. It retains high performance even in case of acidic mobile phases commonly used to separate Proteins and Peptides. COSMOSIL 5Ph-AR-300 provide a secondary separation mode with π-π interaction. It is recommended when the other alkyl chain (C18, C8, C4) stationary phases do not offer optimum selectivity for structurally similar compounds.
