TALIA M3 is a mounting profile — a structural part that the actual TALIA or inTALIA light profile is seated in. It does not light anything itself: it contains no LED strip, no cover and no driver. This length is 1 m, black lacquered (RAL 9005, matt), and carries catalogue number 10-0535-10.Cross-section and where it sits in the ceilingThe body is 54.8 mm wide and 52.6 mm high, with flat flanges running down both sides, so the whole cross-section measures 97.4 mm. The flanges are set into the plasterboard and filled over, which is why the profile is meant to be installed in the board rather than on it.From below the profile is open across 41.7 mm. To fix it in the ceiling the manufacturer specifies mounting springs, article 14-5001-00. The profile is not drive-over rated and has no sealed version.What has to be bought alongside itThe TALIA light profile is coupled to M3 with the TALIA inter-profile connector (14-3041-03), and the manufacturer recommends three per running metre. That connector is what lets the light profile be set at an angle instead of parallel to the ceiling. The manufacturer also states a vertical load of 3.5 kg/m at which the TALIA profile pulls out of M3.End caps for M3 are a separate article and come in two finishes: full (black ALU 12-0762-11) and plain (black ALU 12-0772-11). Lengths are joined into longer runs with the straight connector 14-3032-02, and corners are made with the 90°, 120°, 135° and 3 × 120° angle connectors.Lengths and coloursThe profile is sold in 1000, 2020 and 3000 mm lengths, and to order in a custom size up to 6 m. Besides black the manufacturer makes a white lacquered (RAL 9016) and a silver anodised version — each colour has its own catalogue number.Show more
