Famlight Muna pendant lamp, 10 mix-lister globes, brushed brass 26-RF33001
Famlight Muna 26-RF33001 is a pendant made of ten hand-blown glass globes on a shared rectangular ceiling canopy in brushed brass. The mix-lister version pairs clear globes with hand-painted amber ones, so lamp light passes either uncoloured or through a warm, honey-toned glass layer. The metal cups and arms use the same brushed brass as the canopy. Size and where it can hang The composition is 200 cm high and 60 cm wide, with a 50 cm canopy. Globes come in 20, 25, 30 and 40 cm diameters and hang on cables of different lengths, so the lamp reads as a vertical cluster rather than a flat ring over a table. That scale belongs on a high ceiling or in an open stair void: under a typical 250–270 cm ceiling the lowest globe would sit too close to head height. Compare the 60 cm width with the stair opening, or with table length only if the dining room has a clearly raised ceiling. Lamps and installation There are ten E27 holders. The maker states a 40 W maximum per point; bulbs are not included, so you choose colour temperature and output. Ten sources on one canopy put a lot of light into a vertical column, but the look depends on the bulb — a clear globe shows the filament, an amber globe softens glare. Dimming works only with compatible lamps and a dimmer; the fitting itself is not specified as dimmable. Glass, metal and care The glass is blown and painted by hand, so thickness and luster tone can vary slightly from globe to globe. Brushed brass does not mirror like polished brass: the brush direction stays visible and fingerprints are less specular, yet wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth and skip abrasive polish. Made in Poland. Bulbs, dimmer and spare globes are not in the set. Character and use The form is contemporary: smooth spheres, slim cables and brushed brass instead of a crystal chandelier. Amber glass and warm metal add a decorative glamour note, especially when several globes are lit together. It suits a high-ceiling living room or a stairwell where the vertical cluster can be read from more than one floor.
