Zambelis 25278 LED Flush Ceiling Light Black Matt – Tawny Glass 30 W 2700–3000 K Dimmable

Name: Zambelis 25278 LED Flush Ceiling Light Black Matt – Tawny Glass 30 W 2700–3000 K Dimmable
Brand: Zambelis

The 25278 is a low, flattened body of clear tawny glass set on a round black matt base plate. It measures 35 cm across and 16,2 cm deep. Inside the glass sits a black cone housing the LED module — it aims the light downwards while the glass body spreads it all around. How big it is and how it is fitted The glass takes up the full 35 cm diameter and the fitting stands 16,2 cm clear of the ceiling — figures to compare with the free ceiling area and with the room height. The ceiling plate is 14 cm across and 4,2 cm deep, so it covers a standard junction box. The manufacturer states outright that no cutting hole and no recess depth are needed: the fitting is fixed to a finished ceiling, with no chasing. It is a class I fitting, so an earth conductor is required to wire it. The carton measures 57 × 41 × 19,5 cm and weighs 3,6 kg gross. How much light it gives and of what kind The LED module is built in permanently and draws 30 W. Colour temperature is picked from two settings and the output changes with it: at 2700 K the fitting gives 1420 lm, at 3000 K it gives 1564 lm. The first is warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional bulb; the second is warm white. Both are roughly two former 60 W bulbs, so the fitting lights a room on its own. Colour rendering of Ra 90 means colours read almost as they do in daylight — which counts over a table and wherever the look of fabric and wood matters. The light can be dimmed, but only with a TRIAC, that is a phase-cut, dimmer bought separately. The manufacturer rates the module at 30 000 hours to L70B50; the source cannot be replaced. What interior it suits Tawny glass over a black matt base is a modern-classic pairing: a decorative material in a plain body with no ornament. The manufacturer intends the fitting for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms, and for hotel interiors. The body combines metal, aluminium, acrylic and glass.Show more
