Zambelis 1998 is a pendant built around a single plain bar 115 cm long, finished in matt gold. Five opal glass spheres of 15 cm diameter sit on that bar in alternation: three above it and two below. That one move makes the fitting light the tabletop and the ceiling at the same time, and from the side it reads as a rhythm rather than a row of identical points. Who that length is for 115 cm is the size matched to a table for six to eight and to a kitchen island. The fitting is only 15 cm wide, so it takes no room over the worktop, and the body stands 34 cm tall. It hangs on two wires with a 200 cm fabric-braided cable that can be shortened during installation, which suits a standard ceiling and a tall room alike.
