The Rendl FRESCO 34 is a picture light: a rectangular plate screwed to the wall, a single arm and a horizontal bar carrying a continuous 34 cm line of light. The whole fitting is metal in matt black. The LED module is built in permanently, and the light wires straight into a 230 V circuit. How big it is and how much room it needs above a picture The lit bar measures 34 cm — a figure to compare with the width of the picture it will hang above; over a wider canvas the light will cover only the middle of it. The fitting projects 18 cm from the wall and stands 5 cm tall, so the arm carries the bar out in front of the picture instead of lighting the wall itself. The head tilts through 180°, which lets the beam angle be set after mounting — on glazed pictures that is the only way to move the reflection out of the viewing line. The fitting weighs 376 g, so an ordinary wall plug set holds it. How much light it gives The built-in LED module draws 6 W and delivers 333 lm at 3000 K, a warm white close to a traditional bulb. That output is meant to light one surface: enough for a picture, but no substitute for a ceiling light in the room. The LEDs cannot be replaced because they are fixed in place; the manufacturer rates their life at 25,000 hours. The driver is part of the fitting, so nothing has to be bought alongside it — neither a transformer nor a bulb. Where the manufacturer intends it Rendl files the FRESCO 34 under picture lights and under wall lights for the living room, the bedroom and the hallway. The plain, unornamented shape in a single black finish does not compete with what it lights — the fitting stays in the background and the picture stays visible.Mostra di più
