Max Light Tampa C0241 Black LED Wall and Ceiling Light 18W 3000K 60 cm IP44
Tampa C0241 is a black light bar 60 cm long, with an aluminium profile and a milky polycarbonate cover running its full length. Max Light intends it both as a wall light and as a ceiling light — it mounts on a rectangular plate 15 cm wide, on a wall or on a ceiling. How large it is and how much room it needs The fitting measures 60 cm long and 6 cm across, and stands 8.3 cm off the surface it is fixed to. Beside a mirror that is a narrow strip that does not get in the way of cabinet doors — compare the 60 cm with the width of the mirror itself, because a bar shorter than the mirror leaves its edges in shadow. The mounting plate is 15 cm wide and 4.2 cm deep, and the installation box disappears behind it. In the same family Max Light offers a 180 cm version (C0244) if the same strip of light has to cover a longer wall. How much light it gives and of what kind The light source is built in permanently: an 18 W LED module that cannot be swapped like a bulb. The driver is supplied with it, so nothing extra has to be bought to wire it up. The manufacturer quotes 1020 lm — more than the old 60 W incandescent bulb gave — spread evenly along the whole 60 cm bar rather than concentrated in one point. 3000 K is warm white. The fitting cannot be dimmed: Max Light states outright that it does not work with a dimmer, and with an integrated LED there is no bulb choice that gets around that. Materials and where it can go The profile is aluminium finished in black and the cover is polycarbonate. IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the fitting can hang in a bathroom — above or beside the mirror — outside the direct spray of the shower.
