The Bergen 271BD outdoor ceiling light from the NORLYS collection has a galvanised steel body in a gold-patina finish and a clear, ball-shaped polycarbonate diffuser. A flat, disc-shaped canopy shields the light source from above, while the ball stays exposed at the sides and underneath, so light falls mainly downward and to the sides rather than up toward the ceiling. Built for outdoor spaces An IP55 rating allows the fixture to be mounted outdoors — the manufacturer lists terraces and gazebos as typical locations. The diffuser has a UV filter, so it won't yellow in sunlight, and an EPDM cable gland seals the point where the wire enters the fixture. Light source The fixture takes an E27 light source rated up to 9 W LED; a bulb is not included and needs to be bought separately. It runs on standard 230 V mains power. Dimensions and mounting The fixture measures 36.5 × 22 × 22 cm.
