Nora 2468GB is an outdoor wall light with a flat, square 13 × 13 cm body of cast aluminium, powder-coated in the grey-beige shade RAL 7006. Light leaves through two slots — one at the top, one at the bottom — behind satin safety glass, so the wall carries two soft bands of light rather than a single patch. Size and mounting The fitting stands 5 cm off the wall and weighs 0.85 kg. It screws on through two ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm — a spacing worth comparing with the back box it is meant to cover. The terminal block takes conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allows a loop-through to further fittings with up to 5 × 1.5 mm². A row along a façade can therefore run off a single supply line instead of one cable per fitting. The gland accepts round cable ø7–10.5 mm. The luminaire is protection class I, so it needs a circuit with an earth conductor. How much light it gives The integrated LED module draws 10.3 W and the luminaire puts out 455 lm — enough to mark a doorway or a stretch of façade, not enough to light a driveway. The 2700 K colour is warm and slightly yellow, close to a traditional incandescent bulb, and Ra 80 colour rendering is sufficient for render, timber and stone. Half the output goes up and half down (ULOR 50%), so the fitting draws a symmetric pattern on the wall. The LEDs are binned to SDCM3, which is why several units mounted side by side hold the same shade. Control and servicing Dimming works only within a DALI2/TD system — a DALI-2 controller is required, and an ordinary phase dimmer on the wall will not drive this fitting. The LED module and the control gear are replaceable by a professional, so worn diodes do not mean replacing the whole luminaire. Build and resistance Cast aluminium with a silicone gasket gives IP65 sealing: rain, snow and dust stay out, and the fitting may hang on an unsheltered wall. The IK09 rating covers mechanical impact and matters where the fitting sits at hand height — by a gate, a doorway or along a path.
