NORDLAND 7116AL outdoor wall / ceiling light 12W 3000K aluminium RAL-9006 - NORLYS

Name: NORDLAND 7116AL outdoor wall / ceiling light 12W 3000K aluminium RAL-9006 - NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

NORDLAND 7116AL is a square outdoor luminaire 28 cm to a side, intended for a wall as much as for a ceiling. The body is a powder-coated aluminium casting in RAL 9006, bolted at the four corners. Light leaves through a large milky polycarbonate diffuser on the face and through narrow diffuser strips on all four sides. Where it can be mounted IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from every direction, so it needs no shelter and can sit on an open wall or under the ceiling of a passage. IK10 is the top step of the impact scale, which counts wherever the fitting hangs within reach. It fixes on two ø5 mm holes 150 × 170 mm apart and weighs 2.8 kg. It is protection class I, so an earth conductor has to be in the box; the terminals take cores up to 2.5 mm² and the gland a round cable of ø7–10.5 mm. How much light it gives The LED module is built in and draws 12 W, and 873 lm leave the fitting — roughly an old 60 W incandescent. 3000 K is warm white, and a colour rendering index of Ra 80 sits in the usual range for outdoor luminaires. The milky diffuser spreads the light, so it evens out the wall around it rather than drawing a hard pool. The manufacturer states ULOR 9%, the share of flux going above the horizontal — the rest goes down and sideways. The fitting is not dimmable. The slave version and loop wiring 7116AL is the slave version. Wired on its own it simply switches on and off with the circuit. The manufacturer provides for looping, though — the terminals have a separate in and out for cores up to 1.5 mm², and one circuit carries up to eleven fittings in a master – slave – … – master run. That is the arrangement for corridors, passages and driveways where consecutive fittings should respond together. The control function comes from the master fitting, bought separately — not from 7116AL. Build and service The diffuser polycarbonate is UV-stabilised, the gasket silicone and the gland EPDM — materials chosen for permanent outdoor duty. The LED module is not changed like a bulb, but Norlys lists an LED service set as a spare part with its own article number, so replacement is provided for and done by a service technician.Mostra di più
