The Norlys Vasa 450AL is an outdoor wall luminaire in powder-coated die-cast aluminium, finish aluminium RAL 9006. The body is a shallow horizontal curve, and light leaves only downwards through a clear, structured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate cover. The integrated 3000 K LED module is included.Size and wall fixingThe fitting is 31 cm wide, 12.5 cm high and projects 15.5 cm from the wall. On a façade it reads as a low, wide mark, not a post and not an up-and-down wall light. Net weight is 2.27 kg, gross 2.67 kg; the carton is 34.5 × 15 × 17 cm.It can sit on an intermediate plate with two 5×10 mm slots at 45 mm centres, or directly on two Ø5 mm holes at 68 mm centres. Terminals accept up to 3×2.5 mm², looping up to 3×1.5 mm². The gland needs a round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter and an EPDM cable gland.The light it actually throwsThe luminaire draws 6 W and delivers 440 lm of useful light. The module itself is 4.2 W and 799 lm, so some flux stays in the cover and housing. That is enough to pick out a plinth, a path along the wall or a doorway, not to read at a terrace table. Distribution is downward hemispherical, ULOR 0%, so it does not send light into the sky.3000 K, CRI 80 and SDCM3 give warm, repeatable white light. The light source is energy class C. Phase dimming works on trailing-edge and leading-edge TRIAC dimmers that match the instructions. Only a professional service may replace the LED module and driver. L80 exceeds 102 000 h; the driver is quoted at 50 000 h.Outdoor placementA silicone gasket, UV-stable cover and IP65 support use on a façade, terrace, balcony, beside an entrance and on a garden shelter. IK08 covers ordinary knocks beside a wall, not deliberate vandalism. Ambient range is −20 to +45 °C. It is not a bathroom fitting and is not for immersion.Build and electrical workThe body is painted aluminium, the cover polycarbonate; insulation class II. Supply is 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz.
