NUMINOS ZOOM M DALI is a track spotlight with a white cylindrical body 8.5 cm across and a dark optic ring at the front. It hangs from its own adapter for three-phase track, and the body rotates through 350° and tilts through 90°. The body is aluminium, the optical section polycarbonate. Beam angle adjustable from 15 to 60 degrees A ring on the spotlight sets the beam anywhere between 15 and 60°, with marks at 15°, 24°, 36°, 45° and 60°. At the narrowest setting the light falls as a tight cone on a single object, at 60° it covers several times the area. The angle is changed on the installed fitting, with no lens to swap. The luminous flux moves with the angle: 680 lm at 15°, 1650 lm at 60°. Power draw stays at 20 W whatever the setting. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional incandescent bulb, and Ra 90 means the colours of goods or artwork read almost as they do in daylight. The manufacturer states UGR ≤ 25. Which track it fits The adapter is made for the SLV / Eutrac three-phase track only — it will not mount on a single-phase track. A switch on the adapter selects the circuit (OFF, 1, 2 or 3), so several spotlights on one track can be split into separately switched groups. The track itself is a separate part of the system. Dimming is DALI, which calls for a DALI controller in the installation — the fitting will not work on an ordinary phase-cut dimmer. It is a class I fitting, so the installation needs a protective earth. Size, build and operating conditions The body is 19 cm long and 8.5 cm in diameter, and with the adapter the fitting stands 16.5 cm tall — a figure to compare with the height at which the track runs. It weighs 1.02 kg. The light source is built in: the manufacturer reserves replacement of the LED and the control gear to a professional, and quotes 40 000 hours to the L70B50 criterion.
