TEKKNI ORRE is a mounting kit for LED strip: a black aluminium surface profile 3 m long with a 16 × 7.2 mm cross-section, together with a milky S14 polycarbonate cover. Neither the profile nor the cover emits light on its own — this is the housing an LED strip goes into. What is in the set and what you still need The kit holds four kinds of part: one ORRE profile, one milky S14 cover, four plastic end caps and four metal mounting clips. There is no LED strip and no driver in the box — both are chosen separately. The manufacturer places the driver outside the profile, so it needs a spot of its own in the plan. ORRE sets cannot be joined end to end into one continuous run: a longer line of light is laid out from separate pieces with a visible gap between them. Which strip fits The channel inside the profile is 14.2 mm wide and that is the dimension that decides which strip to buy — it takes a single strip in the common 8 and 10 mm widths, with 14 mm as the upper limit. The cover snaps in between the two lips visible on the cross-section. A milky cover is translucent and scatters the light of the diodes strongly, so individual points are not visible; part of the output is held back in exchange. The same series also offers transparent and frosted covers. Light leaves perpendicular to the mounting plane — straight out from the wall, or downwards from the underside of a shelf. How it is fixed The profile goes up in two ways: on the four metal clips screwed to the substrate, or on double-sided mounting tape. The clips are in the box; screws and tape are bought separately. Four end caps are supplied, two more than a single uncut length needs. At 7.2 mm tall the profile stays low enough to run under a shelf, inside a cabinet or along a wall without building a housing around it.
