The Aldex Bloom Beige 1091A17 floor lamp is a four-light standing fitting with a satin beige metal frame and four milky, matt glass globe shades. Two shades are 14 cm in diameter, two are 20 cm; the globes wrap a 1.5 cm vertical stem and cluster at the top of the mast. Variant 1091A17 keeps a uniform beige frame — not the gold or brass finishes, and not the mixed-colour globes of 1091A30, 1091A40 and 1111A40.Overall height is 161 cm, width 48 cm and depth 35 cm. The round base is 32 cm across. Measure the clear floor beside a sofa, armchair or wall before you place it: 161 cm lifts the shades well above seated eye level, and the globe cluster occupies about half a metre in width.Lamp holders and bulbsThe luminaire has four replaceable holders: two E14 and two E27. Bulbs are not supplied — you fit them yourself following Aldex instructions 1091A. The power limits are 2 × max 10 W LED on E14 and 2 × max 15 W LED on E27. The milky glass spreads light sideways and downwards, so the lamp gives soft ambient light rather than a narrow reading beam at a chair.Colour temperature and lumen output depend on the lamps you choose. Dimming needs a dimmer plus dimmable bulbs; the fitting itself has no integrated LED and no built-in dimmer.Placement, look and careAldex names the bedroom, living room and study. At 161 cm with shades grouped high, it works as extra light by a sofa, in a sitting corner or beside a desk, provided the globes stay out of the walkway. In a dining room it can be background light beside the table, not the main light over the tabletop. The same free-standing form is used in hotel lounges and restaurant seating areas.The slim mast, round base and unornamented geometric globes read as a modern, restrained silhouette. Satin beige metal and milky glass stay muted. The shades are glass — dust them dry or with a barely damp cloth and do not soak the holder side.
