WoodMan Mexico Sofa Bed with Mattress, Beech Wood, Graphite, 210 cm, WUA-00626

Name: WoodMan Mexico Sofa Bed with Mattress, Beech Wood, Graphite, 210 cm, WUA-00626
Brand: WoodMan

MEXICO is a folding futon sofa: a solid beech frame with its structure left on show and flat, plank-like armrests, carrying one continuous buttoned mattress in graphite. The beech is finished naturally with linseed oil and wax rather than lacquer, so the grain stays visible. The backrest folds down flat and the sofa becomes a bed. How much wall it takes The sofa is 210 cm wide and 105 cm deep in its seating position. Opened out it grows into the room to 145 cm — that figure, not the 105, decides whether a walkway is left in front of it, and about 80 cm of clearance is what such a walkway usually needs. The backrest stands 83 cm above the floor; that is the measurement to compare with your own windowsill if the sofa is going under a window. The legs lift the frame 17 cm, and that is the gap underneath, worth comparing with the head of your own vacuum cleaner. Sitting and sleeping The seat is 45 cm high and 65 cm deep. At that depth you sit with your legs drawn up rather than upright; sitting back against the backrest works better with a cushion. The 210 cm width gives room for three at the 60 cm per adult usually counted, and the manufacturer states 250 kg of permissible load for the whole sofa, without splitting it between seats. Folded out, the mattress makes a 140 x 200 cm sleeping surface, the size of an ordinary double bed, 51 cm above the floor. The mattress itself is 18 cm thick and is included, so nothing has to be bought separately for sleeping. Construction, assembly and delivery The mattress is covered in polyester fabric and filled with polyester fibre. The cover comes off, but it must not go in the washing machine. The frame is solid oiled beech. The sofa arrives in two cartons, frame and mattress separately, 82 kg together against 76 kg for the finished piece. The manufacturer expects assembly by two people, supplies the instructions and basic tools, and additionally recommends a hammer, pliers or a no. 10 spanner, flat and cross screwdrivers, and a power screwdriver with an S4 bit.Mostra di più
