The RENA 1631B luminaire from NORLYS is a drive-over in-ground light in black RAL 9005, designed for lighting driveways, paths and terraces — its cast-aluminium housing withstands vehicles on pneumatic tires up to a load of 1000 kg. Use Thanks to its high protection rating and load capacity, the RENA 1631B works well as orientation lighting for driveways, garden paths or terraces that vehicles may drive over. It should not, however, be used in traffic lanes, where it would be exposed to horizontal loads from sudden braking, acceleration or changes in driving direction. Mounting The luminaire is mounted using 3 holes of Ø4.5 mm spaced 120° apart on a Ø100 mm diameter — into the attached mounting box installed per the instructions, or into a suitably prepared hole in wood. It comes with a 3 m long 05RN8-F 3G1 cable, to be connected in a suitably selected electrical installation box. Other mounting accessories must be purchased separately.
