V-TAC VT-8618S is a black square surface-mounted ceiling light with a user-non-replaceable LED module and a microwave motion sensor. It consumes 18W, produces 1830 lm of neutral white light at 4000K, and is configured with the included remote control. The white diffuser is surrounded by a black frame made from PP and PMMA.Dimensions and ceiling installationThe body measures 295 × 295 mm and is 65 mm deep, so the required ceiling area can be checked before installation. The fitting connects directly to a 220–240V, 50/60Hz supply. The manufacturer gallery shows the rear mounting plate, while the instructions depict four fixing points. Installation must be completed by a suitably qualified person with the power isolated.Neutral light from an integrated LED moduleThe full 1830 lm output is available without buying a separate bulb. A colour temperature of 4000K gives neutral white light, while CRI above 80 describes general colour rendering. EPREL separately declares an R9 value of 10, so saturated reds will look less faithful than under a source with a high R9 score. The light is not dimmable. Its LED module is rated for 20,000 hours and may be replaced only by the manufacturer, a service agent or a qualified professional.Setting the sensor and remote controlThe microwave sensor operates at 5.8 GHz. At the recommended mounting height of 3 m, the remote selects a low detection radius of 1–2 m, a medium radius of 2–3 m or a high radius of 4–5 m. The hold time after the last detected movement can be set to 10 or 30 seconds, or to 5, 10, 20 or 30 minutes.The ambient-light threshold can be disabled or set to 30, 20, 10 or 5 lx. This allows motion detection to operate regardless of ambient brightness or only below the chosen level. The remote is supplied with the fitting and also provides on, off with setting memory, and an automatic mode.Protection and intended settingAn IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water, although the manual specifies indoor use. The enclosed diffuser and smooth frame should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth; the manufacturer advises against chemical detergents.Mostra di più
