Zuma Line AMEDEO 17106/3+1-CHR crystal pendant light, chrome

Name: Zuma Line AMEDEO 17106/3+1-CHR crystal pendant light, chrome
Brand: Zuma Line

AMEDEO 17106/3+1-CHR is a pendant built from three rings that step down in tiers, hung with vertical faceted bars of crystal and glass. The frame and ceiling cup are chrome plated and the whole piece hangs on a chain. The fitting is 29 cm across. Size and suspension From the ceiling to the bottom ring the fitting measures 94 cm, a good part of it chain. Over a table the lower edge normally sits 70–80 cm above the top, so at an ordinary ceiling height the chain usually has to be shortened — worth checking before you install it. At 29 cm across this is small for a crystal chandelier, which means it also works over a side table or in a seating corner rather than only over a large dining table. It weighs 4.5 kg, so the fixing has to reach a load-bearing part of the ceiling; a plug in a plasterboard sheet is not enough. Light sources Inside there are four E14 lampholders — three in the outer ring and one in the centre, which is what 3+1 refers to. The manufacturer allows a maximum of 40 W per holder at 230 V and lists both filament bulbs and E14 LED. Bulbs are not included, so colour and brightness are yours to choose. The clear bars do not cover the sources completely — the shape and finish of the bulb stay visible in the finished fitting, so candle shapes or clear glass look different from opal ones. Build and the rooms it suits The bars are crystal and glass, the structure metal in a chrome, mirror-like finish. The facets break the bulb light into points of reflection and the chrome multiplies them — a decorative fitting that stays striking even switched off. This form belongs to a glamour look and sits well with mirrors, glass and cool metals. It suits a dining table, a living room and a bedroom — anywhere the fitting is meant to be an ornament and not only a source of general light.Mostra di più
