Pendant Lamp Aldex Riva Beige Metal Glass 14 cm 1086G17

Name: Pendant Lamp Aldex Riva Beige Metal Glass 14 cm 1086G17
Brand: Aldex

Riva Beige is a single-light pendant: a white opal glass globe 14 cm across sits inside a slender oval metal loop, resting in a small cup at its lower end while the inside of the oval stays empty. The fitting hangs from a white cord ending in a round ceiling rose in the same sand tone as the loop. Drop height and the space it needs Overall height is 200 cm, of which 43 cm is the rigid element — loop plus shade. The rest is cord, and that sets the final drop; the manufacturer allows its length to be changed but assigns that to an electrician, so settle the mounting point before installation. In plan the fitting occupies 18.5 × 14 cm, barely more than the globe itself, so it fits above a narrow bedside table as readily as in a row over a worktop. Above a dining table the drop is usually shortened so the lower edge of the shade sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop: the light then covers the whole surface without shining into the eyes of people seated. The lamp weighs 0.76 kg. Which bulb to buy The fitting takes one E14 lampholder and accepts an LED source of up to 10 W. The bulb goes inside the 14 cm globe, which is why the manufacturer states an extra limit: a narrow E14 bulb no taller than 10.2 cm. An ordinary candle bulb is often longer and, though it screws in, will not disappear into the shade. The opal glass is opaque and spreads the light evenly across the globe, so the filament is not visible from any direction. You choose the light colour with the bulb — warm and yellowish, or neutral white. Finish and where it is meant to go The metal parts — rose, loop and the cup under the globe — are painted sand beige to RAL 1019, the shade stays white and so does the cord. The fitting is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry interiors only. The form is modern and free of ornament: one oval in thin profile, one globe, an open interior. The manufacturer places Riva in living rooms and bedrooms, over a dining table and over a kitchen worktop, and in hotel and restaurant interiors. The collection also includes wall lights, a table lamp and a two-shade version.Mostra di più
