The NORLYS VASA 455GR is a graphite outdoor wall light with a gently curved, half-cylinder body. Powder-coated cast aluminium shields the source from above, while a clear structured polycarbonate lens closes the underside. The photometric distribution is a diffuse upward-directed hemisphere, using the wall surface above the fitting as part of the lighting effect. Dimensions and wall installation VASA measures 31 cm long, 12.5 cm wide and 15.5 cm high. Its 2.27 kg net weight should be considered when choosing fixings for the wall material. It can be mounted through an intermediate plate with two adjustable 5 × 10 mm holes at 45 mm spacing, or directly through two Ø5 mm holes spaced 68 mm apart. Terminals accept conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and loop-through wiring is possible with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm². A round insulated supply cable should be 7–10.5 mm in diameter to work correctly with the EPDM gland. 4000 K light directed onto the wall The complete fitting consumes 6 W, while the LED module itself uses 4.2 W. The source produces 799 lm and the luminaire delivers 457 lm after the optical system. A 4000 K colour temperature is neutral white, and CRI 80 provides standard colour rendering for architectural lighting. The LED module and driver are included. Both can be replaced by a qualified professional. VASA supports TRIAC phase dimming with trailing-edge and leading-edge control, so a compatible installation dimmer is required. Protection for an exterior wall IP65 means the enclosure is dust-tight and protected against water jets, while IK08 records its mechanical impact resistance. The operating range from -20 to +45°C covers typical year-round conditions. Protection class I requires a protective earth connection during installation. The 455GR variant is graphite RAL 7016. Its powder-coated aluminium casting is combined with UV-stabilised structured polycarbonate, a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland. These components protect the interior, while the lens texture distributes light evenly upwards. The VASA family and lumen maintenance This model belongs to the VASA range, which includes several powers, control methods and colour temperatures. For this version, NORLYS states L80 above 102,000 hours and L90 above 52,600 hours.
