BORNHOLM 541AL is a round outdoor luminaire 29 cm across. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in the aluminium RAL 9006 finish and the cover is milky polycarbonate. It mounts on a wall and on a ceiling — the manufacturer lists it as a ceiling-and-wall fitting. The LED module is built in. Size and how it fixes The fitting is 29 cm in diameter and stands 9 cm off the wall, so it clears a front door leaf and fits under a roof overhang. It weighs 1.41 kg. It fixes on two ø5 mm holes spaced 100 × 170 mm — hold that spacing against the substrate before buying plugs. The cable enters through an EPDM gland, and the manufacturer expects a round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. The terminals take up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow further fittings to be looped through on up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so a row of these along a facade runs off one supply instead of a separate drop for each. The luminaire is protection class I, so the circuit needs an earth conductor. How much light it gives 428 lm leave the fitting for 7.8 W drawn. That is the level for an entrance, a terrace or outdoor steps, not for lighting a whole driveway. The cover is milky, so the light is diffused and spreads evenly sideways and downwards with no sharp beam. 3000 K is warm white — warmer than daylight and close to the lighting of living rooms. Ra 80 colour rendering is enough outdoors. The luminaire dims on a TRIAC phase dimmer, on the trailing edge and on the leading edge alike, so it also works with an older R/RL type dimmer. Outdoor service and the light source IP65 covers dust and water jets from any direction, so the fitting can hang on an unsheltered facade. IK10 impact resistance corresponds to a 20 J blow — the top step of that scale and a real difference where the luminaire hangs within reach. The body is powder-coated aluminium, the cover UV-stabilised polycarbonate, and a silicone gasket closes the seal. No lamp is bought separately and none is changed at home: the LED module and the driver are built in, and the manufacturer provides for their replacement by professional service only. Declared life is over 50 000 operating hours.Mostra di più
