NORLYS Asker Big 1300GR is a rectangular outdoor wall luminaire in powder-coated die-cast aluminium, finished graphite RAL 7016. Two clear, structured polycarbonate windows close the top and bottom edges, so light leaves the housing upward and downward while the front face hides the modules. The fitting is 30.2 cm wide, 12.5 cm high and projects 12.1 cm from the wall. That size sits over a door, on a fence pillar or in a repeated run along a facade without stepping into the walkway on a terrace or balcony. How much light it actually delivers Two Philips Fortimo LED modules run at 3000 K and CRI 80. The luminaire emits 547 lm at 8.3 W; 1128 lm is the flux of the sources before the lenses and body take their share. Warm white sketches the wall after dark, and the BUG rating B0-U3-G0 describes mainly vertical emission rather than a wide sideways spill. Trailing-edge phase dimming lowers the output from a compatible TE dimmer. The modules and driver are service-replaceable only; the carton does not include a screw-base lamp. Mounting and wiring IP65 and IK08 describe an unsheltered wall: dust, rain and an accidental knock. Protection class I needs an earth conductor. Terminals take up to 3×2.5 mm², or a through-loop of 3×1.5 mm². Pierce the NORLYS gasket only with a round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter; a tool hole ruins the seal. Fix it on the intermediate plate with two 5×10 mm slots at 45 mm centres, or directly through two ø5 mm holes 68 mm apart. Ambient range is −20 to +45 °C. Net weight 2.62 kg, packed 2.98 kg. Material and placement The body is powder-coated aluminium with a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland. The structured polycarbonate lenses are UV-stabilised; they are not glass. The closed, undecorated box suits a modern, spare facade on a house, hotel, restaurant or boundary wall. Use it on a facade, terrace, balcony, above an entrance or on a fence.
