The LOGS 40 post light is a freestanding garden fixture with a square profile, made of painted aluminium in anthracite. The top of the post holds a flat, integrated LED facing downward. How big it is and how to install it The post stands 39.5 cm tall with a 13 × 8 cm cross-section — a size worth comparing with the width of the path or bed it will stand alongside. The driver for direct connection to a 230 V mains supply is included. For fixing it into the ground, an earth spike, screw set or junction box is bought separately — none of these is included in this package. The IP65 rating and IK04 impact resistance allow the light to be placed directly outdoors, including spots exposed to rain and occasional knocks. Protection class I means the installation needs an earth conductor. How much light it gives The LED is permanently built in and cannot be replaced. Power draw is 9.5 W with a luminous flux of 570 lm, close to the brightness of a traditional bulb just under 60 W. The 3000 K colour is warm, yellowish light, and a colour rendering index of Ra 80 distinguishes plant and surface colours well enough to light a path or driveway.
